EPT Barcelona 2011 Day 4

The final table has been set in less than four hours on day 4 of the 2011 PokerStars European Poker Tour main event in Barcelona, Spain. Tomeu Gomila has kept his chip lead, being able to triple his chip count, having more than two million in chips than his closest opponent Saar Wilf.

Tomeu Gomila is holding more than twice the average chip count with 6,985,000 in chips, while the second placed Saar Wilf and the third placed Raul Mestre are the only ones with more the average chip count with 4,555,000 and 4,260,000 in chips, respectively.

Although Martin Schleich, the chip leader of day 1a, had only 77,000 in chips, being the second player from behind in the chip count, he was able to win a great amount of chips, finishing the day in the fifth place with 2,260,000 in chips. Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov will try to defend the PokerStars honor on the final table, as he is the only one left of the team with 690,000 in chips, in the last place though.
