UK Poker player Julian Thew was the latest player to be recruited from Team PokerStars. Thew will join John Duthie, Vicky Coren, JP Kelly and Jude Ainsworth, the rest of the Brits that belong to Team PokerStars.
Thew declared: ‘I’m thrilled to have been offered a spot on Team PokerStars and I look forward to promoting the brand on my travels throughout the year.’
Thew started his poker career as amateur and in September 2007 he won GUKPT Plymouth. Some weeks later Julian won EPT Baden and in January 2008 he won another GUKPT main event win, in Brighton. His tournament earnings until February 2010, is an amount around $2.5m.
The first tournament that Thew will represent Team PokerStars Pro will be in Manchester, the UKIPT.
